The main objections that I've heard is the cost
that people have been quoted for the shop software itself but also the
ongoing costs after the site has been put live. Shops that constantly
need to be maintained afterwards. You run your business but have

My choice of shop
software is based on the very popular and widely used
oscommerce. The difference is that you take oscommerce and have
to install many small "add-ons" so that the shop is easier to
manage. However I have chosen a product that has the most
popular "add-ins" already installed. This product is called
PowerOSC and can be supplied only or it can be fully installed
and configured for you.
